For Grand Bahama’s annual Christmas Art Exhibition, I created Shielded. I wanted a bright, happy piece for the event. As with all my artistry, I aimed to bring pleasure and a feeling that all is well in our world. This may not be our reality but just the process of making my hand made paper and being in the moment, makes it so for me, however briefly. Shielded sold within the first hour of the exhibition to a wonderful couple from Quebec, Canada.
